Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is the UK's only conservatoire of music and contemporary dance. Leaders in music and contemporary dance education, we also provide exciting opportunities for the public to encounter dance and music, and access arts health programmes.
The Savile Club supports the arts and sciences through frequent cultural events, and by helping those who are starting out in these fields. It has a longstanding informal relationship with Trinity Laban, and set up the scholarship for the first time in 2012.
Halstan is delighted to contribute again to support the third Savile Trinity Laban Scholar which this year was awarded to jazz bassist Daniel Casimir.www.trinitylaban.ac.uk
Halstan has sponsored this wonderful service held in the printers' church – St Bride's in Fleet Street. The choir and congregation will sing a selection of traditional and modern carols, many of which are printed in Amersham interspersed with readings from the nativity story. The service is followed by mince pies and mulled wine. This year's service will be held on 9 December 2014 and everyone is welcome.www.britishprint.com
Formed in 1962, MSO has gone from strength to strength in recent years and its repertoire now includes many works rarely attempted by amateur groups. In 2012 MSO celebrated its 50th anniversary with a series of ambitious concert programmes which included the following highlights: a performance of Holst's Planets Suite in its entirety; a "Completely Beethoven" evening with Egmont Overture, Violin Concerto and Symphony No.6; and the finale of the season was an Opera Gala with both vocal and orchestral excerpts from popular operas by Puccini, Verdi, Offenbach and Donizetti to name a few.www.misbourne-orchestra.org.uk
